At Allan Reece Associates, we proudly carry on the legacy of our esteemed founder, Allan Reece. His distinguished career in the financial services industry, spanning over 50 years, continues to inspire us as we strive to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Allan’s career in the financial services industry began with a 25-year tenure in the Building Society sector, culminating in his leadership of Cheshunt Building Society which was instrumental in driving significant growth, with assets increasing from £70 million in 1980 to a substantial £435 million by 1991.
In 1991, Allan established Allan Reece Associates, specialising in residential and commercial mortgages, as well as protection services. His deep understanding of the mortgage market, coupled with his unwavering commitment to client satisfaction, enabled him to facilitate residential and commercial mortgage lending to a value of approximately £2.5 billion.
Allan’s expertise extended beyond providing sound financial advice. He was a Fellow of the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF) and served as an expert witness in numerous cases relating to Financial Services. His in-depth knowledge of mortgages from both lenders’ and borrowers’ perspectives allowed him to provide invaluable insights and guidance.
Beyond his professional life, Allan was a loving husband and father of four children and a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren. His other passion was for his beloved Chelsea FC where his support was unwavering, and he instilled this love in his children, sharing countless memorable moments both at Stamford Bridge and further afield.
While Allan is no longer with us, his enduring legacy lives on. His commitment to excellence, integrity, and client-centric approach continues to shape our firm. Under the leadership of his sons, Greg and Richard, we remain dedicated to upholding his values and providing the highest quality financial advice to our clients.
